SOLTECH bio products are biologically targeted to seek out and digest organic waste such as animal fats; starches; uric crystals in urinals; human & animal waste etc.
The products work by a bio fixation process where they attach themselves to the organic waste, either in pipelines or on hard & soft surfaces. The products then physically digest the organic waste, converting it into environmentally safe by - products of nutrients, water and inert gases. Waste then passes harmlessly back into the environment via your vessel's effluent & waste treatment plant, whilst continuing to actively enhance and rejuvenate the bio system within the plant.

BIOSOL PLUS (Product in Use)
SUPERCLEAN enzymatic liquid multi-purpose surface cleaner for hard (and fabric) surfaces. Ideal for deep cleaning and daily maintenance on all types of surfaces.
This liquid enzymatic cleaner degrades waste material. The product is not a bacteria and only cleans the immediate area that it is in contact with and, if flushed into a piping system, would continue to function for a limited period. Biosol Plus contains no harmful properties and by biologically degrading organic waste, the re-growth rate of potentially harfmful bacteria can be reduced by effectively removing the bacteria's food source. The product is eminently suitable for use in food preparation areas, cleaning of cabins, staterooms, offices, showers, toilet areas, deck and deck head areas and any hard surface.
The product is supplied in concentrate form and diluted with water to suit the application. SOLTECH, if required, supply dispensers with the product, ensuring correct dilution and the most cost effective use.
This particular product is capable of replacing 8/9 different chemicals presently being used in maritime operations, typically throughout hotel services.
BIOSOL DESCALE (Product in Use)
Descales, degreases and deodorizes showers, basins and toilet drains.
This product contains naturally occurring micro - organisms on a mineral support that have been specially selected to break down uric acid & scale deposits that have built up in pipe work.
By working continuously in the pipes and bends, Descale will remove the scale by slowly dissolving it and treat / remove uric acid before it is allowed to build up. The micro - organisms will re-attach themselves to the pipe as they travel along the pipe work to the sewage treatment plants. The micro - organisms enhance the operation of the sewage system.
A major benefit to ship owners is the fact that scale & uric acid build up can be eliminated during normal cruise / ferry operations thus reducing dry docking time.
Descale will replace all bleaches & caustics for urinal & toilet (including EVAC) cleaning and caustic washes for removing scale from pipe work. The product is supplied in concentrate form and diluted with water to suit the application.
Note: as the mineral support is from citrus fruit, the introduction of Descale, and any of our bacteria based products, will result in a "lemony" and pleasant, fresh smelling, odour.
BIOSOL CLEAR (Product in Use)
Maintains clean, odour free, drains, grease traps and kitchen/galley scuppers.
This product utilises naturally occurring bacteria, which are used to degrade waste materials into their basic elements. The micro - organisums in Biosol Clear will, after the start up dose and when used thereafter on a weekly basis, unblock and maintain clear, odour free, grease traps & pipe work in galleys & kitchens.
The product works by degrading organic matter, fats and greases that have become trapped and built up in greases traps & pipe work into their natural state - mineral elements, water and gas. The resultant waste will then proceed to effluent treatment plants where it will enhance the existing biomass.
The product conforms to EC EFB Class 1. This class contains micro - organisms which have never been described as casual agents in human illness and which pose no threat to the environment.
The product is supplied in concentrate form and diluted with water to suit the application.
BIOSOL ACTIVATE
Used to boost existing bacterial activity in sewage treatment plants, wastewater stations, sludge and settling tanks and increase the biological activity of activated sludge. Also used to reduce foaming in aeration tanks.
This product works by absorbing organic molecules, detergents, hydrocarbons, halogens, cresol, phenol, chlorophenols, organic dyes etc., by introducing a broad spectrum of microbes designed to degrade the organic matter found in most waste water streams.
The product conforms to EC EFB Class 1. This class contains micro - organisms which have never been described as casual agents in human illness and which pose no threat to the environment.
The product is supplied in concentrate form and is applied directly to the waste treatment plant / station.
BIOSOL ODOREAT
Highly concentrated odour eradicator for heavy duty use.
Malodorous gases cause noxious odours. This product creates an electron micro action that destroys gaseous emissions by oxidation and reduction. Diluted with water the product can be poured, sprayed or sprinkled over the areas / application to be treated. It can also be mixed with Biosol Plus to thoroughly clean and de - odourise in one application.
The productis eminently suitable for use in all areas, to include cabins, staterooms, offices, showers / toilet areas, galleys, carpets, grey and black water lines etc.
