Conventional lubricants will fail under harsh operation conditions such as heat, water and abrasive environments leading to metal to metal contact of the operating components. This results in friction leading to adverse wear, elevated operating temperatures and in many cases increase power consumption. BELESTA’s advanced lubricant technology gets right to the heart of the friction zone by creating a boundary lubrication film, which gives enhanced performance under the most adverse conditions.

BELESTA Boundary Lubricants use ester base lubricants which have a unique molecular structure. The resultant highly polarised polymeric fluids have excellent load bearing and anti-wear characteristics without the need for potentially damaging additional chemical additives.

BELESTA products are negatively charged, and literally attract to the metal surfaces, which are inherently positively charged to give the boundary ion effect. This results in a mono-molecular layer of lubricant which is electronically bound to the metal surface, thus preventing metal to metal contact.

BELESTA Lubricants DO NOT contain PTFE, Graphite, Lead, Chlorine, Reactive Solvents, Silicones, or Molybdenum Disulphide additives or components.

BELESTA Lubricants DO NOT alter the original characteristics of the host lubricants and are totally compatible with both mineral and common synthetic lubricants.
